Why member invite and removal events don't appear in activity logs
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Lago maintains two separate audit systems: the Activity Log, which records business operations like customers, invoices, subscriptions, and plans, and the Security Log, which records user management actions. Member invite and removal events are intentionally tracked in the Security Log, not the Activity Log, so they won't appear under Developers > Activity Log.
How to confirm the cause
Check Developers > Activity Log. Member invite and removal events won't appear there even if such actions were recently performed; this is expected behavior, not a gap.
Where to find the actual audit trail
Member invite, removal, and role change events (user.invited, user.deleted, user.role_edited) are recorded in the Security Log. Access to Security Logs is available on premium plans with the feature enabled for your organization; if there's no Security Logs section under Settings > Teams & Security, your plan may not include it, contact Lago to confirm access.
If Security Logs aren't available on your plan and audit trail tracking for user management is critical to your compliance requirements, maintain a separate external log of these actions in the interim.
